Have you every written a summery if so what did you do it on?
This is my summery I hope you like it
Fair Chocolate by Renata Hopkins. This book is all about a fair trade company based in Sydenham Christchurch. The first part of the article is about how chocolate is made do you know how chocolate is made. This factory is a fair trade chocolate which means it is not making as much money as Cadbury or Whittakers. Fair trade means it uses its money to pay their employees a good amount and they find a source of their own. This means they don’t use the cheat way or easy ruin.It also states that this is the only N.Z fair trade company.
There are about five steps of the procedure the company uses to make the chocolate. The first step of making chocolate comes from Cacao a plant that was native from central and South America but is now know to be grown in Africa. It is then prepared to be dried and fermented.Next they get sent off to the factory to be processed into chocolate. They got the machines used from Australia as they were on a very tight budget.
The factory used to be based in England but it was a very inconvenient place for the N.Z Company.Because They are a fair trade company it meant that their prices were more expensive. Other companies pay their employees less than they should.Fair Chocolate pays their company the right amount of money for what they do that is why their chocolate is more expensive. They moved their company to N.Z as this made it cheaper for everyone.I think this factory is a great factory because it is one of the only fair trade companies in New Zealand
