My super speech

This term we are doing speeches.Are speeches have to be about our PBL question.My PBL questions is well you'll just have to wait and find out.The aim of my speech is to spreed awareness about racism and how we can stop it.

This is the introduction of my speech.

Welcome today i’m going to share my speech about racism and how we can stop it.Did you know once Nelson Mandela said , “No one is born hating another person because of their  skin colour, background or religion.People learn to hate and if people can be taught to hate they can be taught to love as love comes more naturally to the human heart then hate does. One in three complaints lodged to the human rights commission are about racism or discrimination.Most people that get discriminated against do not complain this means their are so many more people that  get racially discriminated against.

This term at technology I am in sowing yay. We are making cushions.So far we have learned how the machine works and made a practice piece,we also learned the class room rules.

Goals for Term 2

Today's blog post is going to be about my goals for this term we had to come up with at least 3 goals.The goals we had to have are a winter sport goal a learning goal and a goal of your choice.My first goal is about winter spot it is,I hope my team and I can do the best we can this year and to be a supportive team mate.My next goal is to make sure my work is up to a good slandered and I am all update.My last go is to me a good family member and do random stuff around our house without being asked.

Cross Country

On the 2nd of May 2019 our school walked down to Walter park to participate in Cross Country.Cross Country is when you run a certain distance.At our school if you get in the top 6 you get to go to zones then if you get in the top 12 at zones you go to centrals.We left school a 9.00 am with a year 1/2 buddy and started to walk down.

This was the order of events.

Year 8 Boys Laps: 3
Year 8 Girls Laps: 3
Year 0-1 Boys Laps: 500m
Year 0-1 Girls Laps: 500m
Year 2 Boys Laps: 500m
Year 2 Girls Laps: 500m

To Be Honest it didn't really take that long we got back to school at 12.30ish.

I got 3rd place so I get to go to zones.

Awesome Art

This term one of our first PBL activity was to make an art piece. The art piece was about racism we had some example that we used to inspire us.The art had to in clued a picture of us,a slogan or an image about racism and a quote story or a  poem.The meaning of this art is to spread awareness about racism.

Term Two PBL

This term our driving question for PBL is,How can we speak up against discrimination.
While we discussed this main questions we came up with many sub questions.Our sub questions are What is discrimination,What does an up stander do and What are stereotypes or bias.
Our final vision for this PBL is to go live for a day.To do this we would could ether do a ted talk poetry slam podcast of drama.My partner and I are doing a poetry slam on how to stop racism. This term I hope that I can change the view of many people causing discrimination. \
