Reading task

This week I am sharing my reading work with you.My goal for this week is... 
Use questions to challenge the text, question the author, establish the authenticity of the text and state opinions.

First of all we look at what a opinion is vs what a fact is. After we read a book called Driving us into the future
Then we had to write 4 questions and a statement on way we think it relates to our PBL,What will the future ask of us.Along with commenting on another persons question if we can answer it or if we agree.
This is my work  - 

PBL Statement - This relates to our PBL as it is looking into the future I think with the technology growing these cars could be the news car  of the future 

Question 1 - Why are the electric cars so expensive
Question 2 - Do we need more public transport so people don't have to speed there money on an electric car
Question 3 - What makes electric car more expensive then petrol  
Question 4 -  What happens if your electric car runs out of power

Fitness

Today I am going to share my fitness circuit I made with you.The reason we had to make this is so people stay on task in their fitness slot.We had to include a anaerobic aerobic and muscular endurance.We had to make these with our PBL buddies for this term,my PBL buddy  is Ruby
- Anaerobic is a short period of time that helps with endurance.
- Aerobic is longer period of time like cross country
- Muscular endurance is your puss ups and squats

It's a new term

It's time for term 3 the holidays went to fast.Today I am going to tell you about this terms PBL .Our driving question this term is, What will the future ask of us.We have touched on this topic a few times all ready this term.The topics we have talked about all ready are Biggest problems skill sets robots have differences between us and robots.I am quite interested about this topic as it is one I have not heard about yet. 

First Topic,
 Our biggest problems Climate change and pollution are one of our biggest problems in the world to some types of pollution are global warming habitat deforestation and workplace gases.Poverty and addiction are another types of big problems.People with poverty have to find warmth shelter and food and drink.

Second
Robots, we used this website to see if our dream jobs would be taken by robots.We talked about this robots have that we don't  have.Robots are reliable and will not cheat as we may be tempted.We also watched a video about this robot named Sophia.

Lets reflect

This is my PBL term refection.On Wednesday the 3rd of July our hub went live for a day.Our products were on Discrimination. Harriet and I presented our poem live to the computer.They have been live streamed on you tube for many to watch.We had a day and night show so we had to present it twice.

Books and elderly

Today my blog post is going to be on the book I have been listing to and Diana Issac retirement village. 

Novel - 
Throughout the last couple of weeks,we had the choice to pick one of three books to listen to while we ate.The books we could pick from are:
Boy in the striped PJ's 
Ann Frank 
and lastly Chinese Cinderella.
The book I picked is...Chinese Cinderella. This is a really good book although we have not finished it I am loving it so fa.It is a great book it listen to.

Diana Issac - 
Since week two this term,our hub has had the opportunity to go a local retirement village with the name of Diana Issac. Diana Issac it a place were the elderly can go to get looked after by heaps of staff,the oldest person this is 101! In the fist week of term we got to pick from 

• Bingo\Board Games
• Baking
• Coding\Technology
• Art
• Balloon Sports

On what we wanted to do.I choose baking on my week I made lolly cake it was so good.

This week  we did not have workshops so I can't do my weekly learning blog.Instead of workshops we did some art this art was made on google drawing.We had to make portraits of our self. I found this art challenging to do at I had to do it on my chrome book we followed a video that did step by step instructions.
