Performing PBL

This term our PBL (Project Based Learning) question was How can we speak up against discrimination.We learned about four different kinds of discrimination,Racism,Sexism,Ableism and Religious discrimination.From then we picked one topic we would research  more deeply into.The way we are going to present our finding on this topic we either get to do a poetry slam,ted talk,Drama and pod cast and on Wednesday the 3rd of July we are going live .

Our Poetry slam is based on racism. We chose this topic because we both know many people that have been affected by this terrible form of discrimination. Another reason we chose this was because of the March 15th Christchurch Terror Attacks.  We think that now everyone in our country knows how bad racism can be we need to come together and stop it.


We also had to make an invitation to our parents to come to this event,

Reading Create W8 T2

You know it i'm back with another one of my learning updates.This week I will be sharing my maths reading and writing.My writing goal was Deliberately use written and visual language features when appropriate to enhance writing.My Math goal was Use relative frequency to predict events.Lastly my reading goal Identify several ideas, discuss the author's stance or purpose, and understand the relationships in text.

Winter Sport 🏃🏆

This week I am going to be sharing my winter sport  with you.I am in the A hockey team the lions.We have played 4 games so far.We have won all of the games so far,since we are the A team we went to a tournament.My team mates are,Mereana,Petra,Grace,Isabella,Gaby,Alexis,Ben and Oliver.We play 6 aside at nun wick park.

Marvellous Math

As part of the bingo card we did we had to do a problem solving question.The problem solving was called stairs to square.This included many questions.As a group we had to make a screencastify sharing our learning from the week.This video will be going on our linc ed for parents and guardians to see

Break Out Escape

This week I did break out EDU this is when you are stuck in a room and you have to find clue to unlock the door.This years one was wonder themed.There were 6 lock some with secret codes and some with a key we had to find there was even one with arrows.We did it in our quiz groups our group did it in 14 minutes.

This week all our school week was testing.To keep us entertained while we weren't getting tested our teachers made a bingo card for us. There were nine tasks to complete the one in the middle was our priority.We also had to do a literacy task and basic facts.
