PBL Main Artefact

This is one of my last blogs for the term.So in this blog I will be sharing my main artefact for PBL, not to be confused with my sub artefacts that I shared last week. For my main artefact Ruby and I made a NEW FOOD!  With sustainable packing. We made our sustainable packing out of reused cardboard boxes and recycled paper. Our food is a cookie dough cone with crusted ice in side, ice cream on the top and lastly more ice on top of the ice cream so when you bit it you get a big surprise. We think this will help the future as people wont want to be eating the same thing so we made something new and we need sustainable packing so we are not harming the earth.
Have you enjoyed my blogs this term?

RE Advertisement

Over the past few weeks we have been learning about the seven sacraments, they are
- Baptism
- Holy Communion
-  Conformation
-  Marriage
- Holy Orders
-  Anointing of the sick
- Reconciliation
There are three different kinds of sacraments they are initiation, commitment and healing. We then got with a buddy and picked a sacrament that you could make an advertisement. I went with Ruby we decided to do it on marriage and make a video on it.
This is my video -

Do you like it? Did it give you more information about marriage you didn't know?

Math's Blog

This week in math my goals were to:
- Evaluate findings and form conclusions
- complete a statistical investigation by collecting, displaying and discussing data.
- determine appropriate variables and data collection methods.
- choose an appropriate data display.
- analyse a data sample.
- use a database (spreadsheet) to collect and organise data.
- collect and display time- series data.
We also talked about what the  variables are my understanding for a variable is: Something in an experiment that changes so we can see the differences
For example we used: the exercises.
The variables in this experiment are
2 min walk
2 min star jumps
2 min sit ups
2 min sprint .

This is my graph -
This is my table -

Tim
Harry
Sarah
Ave for each exercise
2 Min Walk
148
150
160
153
2 Min Star Jump
186
172
192
183
2 Min Situp
198
158
162
173
2 Min Sprint
206
198
200
201
Ave for each person
185
170
179

Then we had to write three conclusions about the experiment mine are:
The graph above shows that the 2 min sprint makes the participants heart rate increase the most for example the average heart rate for that exercise is 201 .
The graph above show that the 2 min walk  make the participants heart rate increase the lowest for example the average heart rate for that exercise is 153.
The graph above show that Tim has the highest heart rate over all of the exercise for example his average heart rate is 185 over all of the exercises.

Have you ever measured your heart rate?

My very own science experiment

As you know we went around and learned about the different science parts, now we are doing our own.Over the past two weeks we have been doing our own experiment with a buddy or by ourself. I choose to make a storm in a cup by myself and it was a success .When we did the experiment we had to watch carefully so we could write it up.I really enjoyed doing this as it was something we had not really looked at before.
Do you like science?
This is my write up on a storm in a cup

Volunteering Week

This week is all about volunteering. We had to fill out a form picking what thing we would like to volunteer for.The choices were: graffiti removal, food bank and curtain bank. My first choice was graffiti removal sadly I did not get into this although I did get into my second choice with four of my friend. This was actually a pretty good experience, and would do it again with some friends. We had to pack food packets for people that ring up and ask for it.When we finished packing the boxes we re filled all of the shelf's.
Have you ever done anything like this ?
